November Round-up: Nurturing Growth 🌱
November has been a lively month at Nurturing Growth, with lots of friends joining us for walks, singing, yoga, and dance. It’s been wonderful to see so many familiar faces returning, as well as welcoming a few new ones!
Our choir had a festive treat, singing Christmas carols for the Dementia Hub, and we were touched to receive a beautiful drawing of our choir from one of the gentlemen who attended. We also brought carols and cheer to the residents at Abbeyfields, spreading the spirit of the season.
A very special highlight was a visit from the High Sheriff of North Yorkshire, who joined in our walking and singing sessions and spent time chatting with our friends and volunteers – it was a real joy to share the day with them.
Creativity was also buzzing this month, with knitted hats made for our Christmas fair helping us raise £242 for SSIA – a huge thank you to everyone involved!
November has been full of connection, music, movement, and community spirit. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined in and helped make the month so memorable.
