May round-up: Step Into Action Wellbeing Hub & Cafe ☕

Continuing the momentum from last month’s helpful workshops on anxiety, our friend Pauline kindly returned to lead another insightful workshop – this time focusing on sleep. Guests found it really informative and appreciated the practical tips for improving sleep and relaxation.

Our Wednesday night quiz has quietly become a favourite feature – it’s a relaxed, friendly way for us all to share some laughs, spark some gentle competition (we don’t keep scores!) and have some interesting conversation. It’s quickly turning into a regular highlight!

On Saturdays we’ve been treated to some really delicious meals cooked by our wonderful chef, Alison. Thanks to generous food donations from Morrisons, we’ve been able to make use of surplus bakery goods and frozen food items, helping reduce food waste whilst creating nourishing meals for everyone to enjoy.

Here’s just some of the meals Chef Alison has this month:

🍳 A hearty all-day breakfast

🥐 Chocolate bread and butter pudding featuring surplus croissants

🥕 A classic roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings, finished off with a comforting peach cobbler and custard!
