April Round-up: Nurturing Growth π±
What a joyful and jam-packed month we’ve had at Nurturing Growth!
With the sunshine making a welcome return, we’ve been making the most of it by getting out and about, soaking up the beauty of our brilliant town. One of our favourite spots, the Diamond Jubilee Garden on Newmarket Street, was looking as gorgeous as ever β so beautifully kept and always a pleasure to visit. We also enjoyed plenty of canal-side strolls, admiring the cheerful Easter decorations that brought a lovely pop of colour to the houses along the way.
A springtime highlight was our walk up to Aireville Park, where the cherry blossoms were in full, breathtaking bloom β a truly magical sight!
But it wasn’t all walking and wanderingβ¦ we also welcomed some fantastic guests! David Weale from Skipton Choir brought the joy of music to our sessions with some uplifting singing, filling the room with smiles and song. One of those sessions was joined by Nadine from the VCS Alliance, who popped in to see our community in action. Her role connects NHS services with groups like ours, so it was a brilliant opportunity to show her what we’re all about.
Back at base, we’ve been busy transforming our outdoor space with new decorations β itβs becoming a peaceful, inviting haven that we can’t wait to enjoy more as the warmer days roll in.
Hereβs to more sunshine, smiles, and shared moments in the months ahead!
