A Sunny Morning with Better Connect! 📸

We loved having Better Connect join us at Nurturing Growth yesterday. Hannah and Laura joined us to do some filming. It’s so important for us to be able to capture the work we do and they did an excellent job. The sun shone for us and we got some amazing pictures (some of which you can see here!) and videos, including interviews with some of our clients – hearing more about their stories was so heartwarming!

Better Connect connect funders, businesses and partner organisations by designing programmes that create Better Lives. Better Connect are supporting the Community Anchor organisations across Yorkshire to develop skills in area’s such as marketing and impact, systems and finance. They have been working with SSIA to capture the impact that we make across the local area.

Hannah said: “Laura and I had a fantastic time visiting Skipton Step into Action and attending the Nurturing Growth group. Everyone we met was so warm and friendly and we will look forward to returning again. It was great to hear about the impact that SSIA has and it is clear that the services on offer to the local community are vital”
