Thank you, Whiteheads!

Although the weather wasn’t kind to them, Team Whitehead battled on and have raised an astonishing £1475 for Skipton Step Into Action! 👏🏻

Joe Whitehead and family climbed Mt Snowden to raise money for SSIA because “They are an amazing charity who provided a lifeline to my Granny Sue and our family through their services. I really want to raise money to support them to help others like they helped us. We have spoken to them and they are currently raising funds for their Nurturing Growth group as well as arranging some summer boat and train trips for those they support”

Sadly, the family lost Sue last month. Sue and her husband Mike have been regular attendees of our Nurturing Growth project for a long time and Sue will be greatly missed. SSIA will always remember Sue as being such a lovely, positive lady who was such great company.

A massive well done and thank you to all involved. The money raised will go towards activities and days out for those who attend SSIA’s Nurturing Growth project in memory of Sue.
