Step Into Autumn Afternoon Tea & Fundraiser

We had a marvellous time at our Step Into Autumn afternoon tea and fundraiser yesterday, hosted in collaboration with and funded by the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven. We had delicious sandwiches and cakes and an outstanding performance from opera singer Nicola Mills. 

We also had a raffle with some fabulous prizes (thank you to all who donated, including: Adonia Aesthetics, Bolton Abbey, Conistom Hotel and Spa, Brooklands School, Morrisons, Discount Sports and of course SSIA and Rotary volunteers!). We also had a wonderful poetry reading from local author Yvonne Crabtree.

One attendee said: “Thank you to SSIA and the Rotaty for a pleasurable afternoon at the town hall… it was a great success!”

Thank you to all who came and to the volunteers who helped on the day. Thanks to you all, we raised an amazing £848, which will go to SSIA to purchase a portable defibrillator.
