Step Into Action Wellbeing Hub & Cafe: February Round-up

From Wellbeing Cafe Project Coordinator, Hayley Stockwell: “February has been a fun month at the Wellbeing cafe. We kicked off the month by honoring the Scottish tradition of Burns night and thanks to our lovely chef Alison we all enjoyed some Haggis (veggie version as well) along with some neeps and tatties! Throughout the rest of the month, chef Alison treated us to comforting classics such as corned beef pie and also some delicious pasta, and of course there was always a pudding with some custard!

In our creative sessions we had a lot of fun trying our hand at rock painting and the results were really special. We were also really thrilled to get our hands on some new colouring pens, so now when we get our colouring books out we can go crazy! Also we had a lovely mindfulness session, where some of us had a go at journaling.

Finally, a generous volunteer kindly donated some pretty tablecloths that have given our space a lovely spring feel, now we’re just waiting for actual spring!”
