SSIA Turns Five! 🎉

Can you believe it! Skipton Step Into Action is five years old.

Born out of the Covid-19 pandemic, where we supported those who were isolating with practical things like shopping and collecting prescriptions, over the last five years we have evolved in line with what our community needs – local people supporting local people.

We felt it was only right that we had a celebration to mark the occasion and we had such a good time at our event at Skipton Town Hall yesterday, where we had attendance from volunteers, staff, clients and other local organisations. There were speeches, singing from our Nurturing Growth singers and of course, food and cake.

We also had an ‘appreciation’ activity where people could write down anything they’d like to say thank you for, have a look at some of the comments below 👇

We cannot thank those who attended enough for making the day so special. Here’s to many more years to come!
