January round up: Nurturing Growth

This past month has been a busy and rewarding time for our Nurturing Growth project, filled with moments of warmth, resilience, and community spirit. Here’s a look at some of our key highlights.

We proudly took part in the UK-wide initiative Warm Welcome Week, offering a cosy and inviting space for those looking to escape the cold. Our doors were open to provide warmth, conversation, and a sense of belonging to all who visited. It was wonderful to see our space being used to bring people together in such a meaningful way.

We were delighted to have David Weale join us to support our choir rehearsals. His guidance and enthusiasm were invaluable as we prepared for our upcoming visit to the Dementia Hub. Music has a unique way of bringing people together, and we’re looking forward to sharing joy and connection through song with the Dementia Hub community.
